Position: Retail specialist for development of Retail Underwriting Office of Credit Underwriting Department of CRO Division
Role: Implementation of Loan Origination Module (incl. decision engine), Scoring system with further maintenance and analytical support.
Requirements:
• Degree in economics or financial education, serious mathematical and analytical skills.
• Experience in leading banks in retail lending from 3 years.
• Knowledge of legislation, normative legal acts of the NBU, which regulate the lending activities of banks.
• Experienced PC user, a good knowledge of the VBA, the ability to work with SAS and databases.
• High-level English skills.
Professional knowledge:
• Experience in implementation of or participating in implementation of Loan Origination Module (incl. decision engine), Scoring system.
• Knowledge of credit analysis the methods, including the use of management data, financial modelling, industry analysis.
• Experience and knowledge of retail portfolios of loans / card, main credit products, development and analyses scoring models, experience in behavioural and Fraud scoring models.
• Experience with retail loan portfolio analysis tools, experience in development of reports.
• Understanding the general principles of fraud risk management, practices.
• Working with databases, knowledge of sql, data mining technologies.
• Preparation of reports in Excel and Power Point (visual presentation of findings).
• Practical experience in building scoring models, application-scoring, fraud-scoring, collection-scoring.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics, econometrics.
• Understanding of retail lending, technology risks.
Key responsibilities:
• Experience in implementation of or participating in implementation of Scoring system (scoring models with either logistic regression, decision tree/decision rules, creating expert scorecards, tool for comparing different scorecards and analyzing their efficiency and model performance reports.
• Experience in implementation of or participating in implementation of Loan Origination Module:
Automation of decision-making and borrower evaluation cycle;
Automatic calculation of optimal loan parameters: loan amount, term of the loan, interest rate etc.;
Setting individual evaluation processes for different products, portfolio segments and business lines;
Flexible management of the lender´s credit rules, credit policies and scoring models;
Ability to self-change business processes, configuring, adding and deleting cells;
Evaluating the efficiency and adequacy of the loan origination system´s performance and staff productivity;
Ability to swiftly adjust credit policy (new lending rules, changes in lending rules, appropriate risk margin);
automatic printing of agreements;
authorization of the credit transaction with subsequent transfer of data to the core system;
documentation management system (incl. electronic archive).
• Loan Origination Module and scoring operation maintenance and analytical support:
Organizes work and Control of project implementation;
Keeps track of project risks and organize development of the plan to respond to them;
Development and permanent actualization (validation / calibration) scoring models for retail loans;
Formation of statistical risk assessment models, scorecards;
Decision of tasks forecasting and modelling retail credit risk;
Monitoring of the retail loan portfolio behaviour and the calibration (adjustment) of existing scoring models;
Updating scoring model, decision tree, analysis of information from Credit Bureau and other data sources;
Construction of the current reporting on portrait of the borrower, level of approval, reasons of reject.
