Senior Economist (retail credit underwriter) for the international bank
Responsibilities:
• Underwriting of Retail products applications (Car loans, Mortgage, Home Equity)
• Improvement of underwriting tools and decision-making process
• Review and update of Credit Policy for Retail clients
• Participating in Retail credit products development and review
• Development and review of bad debt restructuring programs
• Participating in implementation, testing and quality monitoring of decision-making systems
• Retail Portfolio analysis
• Providing NBU ratings for Retail clients
• Work-out of fraud-prevention and collection strategies
Requirements:
Education:
• University degree in banking/finance or economics
Professional Experience:
• Minimum two years of experience in Retail Credit Risk Department in Bank
• Minimum one year of experience in Mortgage and Car Loans underwriting
• Good knowledge of Ukrainian legislation and NBU regulations
• Experience in debt restructuring programs
• Retail products portfolio analysis
• Experience in Scorecard development is a privilege
Skills:
• Good analytical skills with an aptitude for figures
• Advance PC user (Microsoft Office, Operational systems, statistic programs)
• Good written and oral communication skills in English are required
