Bank of Cyprus is looking to recruit the member of its team for the position of
Deputy Head of Treasury Department with a high profile in the banking community
Requirements:
University degree in Economics/Finance/Banking or other business related subject or accredited professional qualifications
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Experience in performing treasury function within international financial institutions
Track record demonstrating the ability to manage and to promote competitive treasury business in Kiev and across the regions
Fluent English is a must (both in speaking and writing)
Computer literacy
Main responsibilities:
Is responsible for activities of entire Department in case of Head of Department absence;
Develops short and medium term policy on management of assets, liabilities and risks of the bank
Determines the cost of operations based on the value of resources used and establishing a minimum level of profitability of operations;
Responsible for the pricing of active-passive operations;
Implements interest rate risk management;
Implements of interest margin mamagement;
Sets the funding policies and analysis of available funding for forecasting bank need resources;
Provides regulatory compliance with NBU required reserves and liquidity. Responsible for inconsistencies eliminating and for prognosis study of the measures aimed at rectifying the situation;
Implements GAP-analysis of liquidity, GAP-analysis of interest rate risk;
Performs accounting positionning of corresponded accounts of payment calendar.
