Job Overview
The Unit Head will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Credit Operations chain with oversight over the various team leaders responsible for APU (Data Entry &Scanning) CPV (verifications) and Underwriting. The incumbent will have additional responsibilities including strategic cost management, capacity management & helping drive policy based on strategic MIS generated within AFU and overall quality control.
Key Competencies required
A graduate degree at the minimum.
5 years of work experience, with some experience in leading a team would be required for the job role.
Work experience in the local market would be a definite advantage.
The job requires knowledge of all Retails Asset Products & complete understanding of all credit policies
Ability to effectively implement & execute processes & policies
Distil date based findings and present them in a suitable way for use by management for strategic decisions
Identify gasps in coverage
Advanced Problem Solving & Analytical skills
Advanced Time Management & Resource management skills
Escalation of complaints/issues where required
Ability to work in a high pressure environment with minimum defects while maintaining process rigour and discipline
Ability to consistently deliver results against targets.
Ability to analyze trends and take pre-emptive action.
Ability to provide feedback to management based on case analysis, MIS and any local community Knowledge
Ability to lead a team of diverse people and ensure optimum results is obtained.
Ability to review process and policy and ensure dynamic management of the same.
5 years prior Collections or Credit experience is a must. Local market experience preferable
Exposure to different products, customer segments and markets is a must
Incumbent should have working relationships within and outside the local community
Knowledge of the local market will help in providing feedback to sales / collections
