Bank of Cyprus is looking to recruit the member of its team for the position of Head of Operational Risks Unit.
Requirements:
University degree in banking, finance, economics, mathematics or related field;
At least 2 years experience in working within Bank?s operational risks function;
Fluent in English;
Computer literacy: MS Excel, Power Point;
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Main responsibilities:
Conduct of investigations due to the facts of operational risks issues;
Development of the list of actions recommended for minimizing or prevention of operational risks;
Analysis of bank processes and identification of risks and controls;
Assessment of the risk and effectiveness of control;
Development of risk and performance indicators and further implementation;
Preparation of maps / matrices and risk controls within the Bank´s business-processes;
Conducting random checks of quality control function;
Preparation of operational risks reports;
Formation of presentations with the operational risks control results.
