Position: Currency Control Specialist
Job purpose: Adhering to currency control legislation requirements on foreign currency purchase operations, outgoing foreign currency payments.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Control for adhering to currency control legislation requirements on foreign currency purchase operations and outgoing foreign currency payments
• Control for presence and correspondence to the local legislation and corporate requirements of the customers documentations for foreign currency purchase operations and outgoing foreign currency payments;
• Controlling payment term abidance on customers outgoing foreign currency payments;
• Full and timely reporting accordingly to the Ukrainian legislation requirements to the corresponding government authorities on currency control issues on foreign currency purchase operations and outgoing foreign currency payments;
• To support the bank’s customers on import operations currency control queries;
• Co-ordination of ongoing matters with Unit employees, processing and trade FCU subunits as well as with LPMT, TROPS, Operational Controller and CitiService;
• Compliance with local regulations requirements, Citibank policies and US legislation when it does not contradict with local legislation requirements.
• Controlling currency control requirements on customers transactions under non-resident loans, preparation of reports, communication with National Bank of Ukraine on these matters
• Reporting to the National Bank of Ukraine on customers foreign currency purchase transactions;
• Preparation and update of foreign currency unit procedures (if necessary).
• New employee’s/back-ups trainings.
Perform other duties requested by Employer.
THE CANDIDATE SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Knowledge/Experience:
• At least 2 years experience in currency control field Knowledge of the local market.
Skills:
• IT –Microsoft Office
• High level of responsibility

• Highly-organized and punctual person
• Team worker
• Great negotiating and communicating skills
• Strong confident personality
Qualifications:
• Higher degree
• Fluent Ukrainian, Russian
• Good English
