is seeking highly qualified professionals for positions Relationship Manager
Aim of the position
To be the face of IT to Board Members and Senior Management of Business Lines and Support Functions. To represent and to defend business interests within IT. To align IT with business based on Board Members and Senior Management priorities. To actively manage IT capacity accordingly. To support Business to define IT requirements. To drive IT to deliver value.
Responsibilities of the employee
§ Understands business priorities and strategy
§ Represents and strives for business interests within IT
§ Quantifies required IT investments and resources (in coordination with development and operations).
§ Supports business managers in quantifying business benefits and developing business cases
§ Assists Business with preparation of technical specifications and prepares technical specifications
§ Offers support to Business in formulating requirements for IT
§ Helps create and validates Project Charters regarding IT content, plan and required resources. Challenges content, plan and estimates given by third parties or other IT units.
§ Supports pre-studies for projects and performs pre-studies for BU initiatives
§ Actively manages the IT capacity allocated to the Business Unit or Support Function he’s in charge of
§ Coordinates IT resource allocation with other BUs’ Relationship Managers, IT line managers and Central PMO
§ Negotiates the best schedules for his Business Line(s)
§ Tracks and optimizes utilization of allocated capacity
§ Takes responsibility for the delivery of Business Unit initiatives according to the terms agreed with the business
§ Helps solve issues related to the implementation of initiatives/projects for his business unit
§ Reports to business managers and Board members on the progress of projects and Business initiatives and on the capacity utilization (money and people)
§ Coordinates the budgeting process and perform estimates for initiatives and IT part of projects requested by the Business Unit or Support Function he’s in charge of
§ Provides input and business perspective into IT strategy and architecture development process
Qualification requests
Previous experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in a management or coordination role in Banking, Project Management or IT (IT background is not a must, sound management skills and structured thinking are)
· Higher education
Key skills requirements:
· Excellent analytical skills and structured thinking
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in negotiation, persuasion, conflict management
· Excellent management skills
· Good understanding of Bank strategy, business units and priorities. Business-like person
· Good understanding of IT support processes and systems
· Service-oriented, willingness to make it happen despite obstacles.
· Accountability, high commitment to the job
· Ability to work under pressure
· Results driven
· Adaptability and quick learning
· Ability to stretch himself out of his comfort zone
· Good presentation
· Fluency in English
