Senior Business Expert for UA GAAP
Raiffeisen Bank Aval is looking for a qualified Senior Business Expert for UA GAAP work in Kiev office on full time basis.
We are one of the biggest banks operating in Ukraine and a member of one of the leading banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe.
We are searching for an experienced, flexible and highly motivated professional experienced in Ukrainian GAAP and financial Reporting who will be responsible for the implementation of our new accounting system for UA GAAP in compliance with local accounting regulations and NBU reporting requirements.
We offer attractive working conditions and career opportunities. Working conditions are normal for a project environment, work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Place of work is Kiev.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a candidate who:
o Has at least 5-7 years of working experience in UA GAAP accounting - working experience in banking will be considered as an additional asset
o Has excellent knowledge of general finance, accounting, reporting principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in Ukraine. IFRS as an advantage
o Is familiar with financial accounting and reporting software. The candidate should be able to analyze complex financial data
o Is an experienced coach, negotiator and optimally has some working experience in change management topics
o Is a pro-active personality with hands-on-mentality, good analytical and social skills, is self motivated and result oriented
o Has the ability to motivate teams, produce qualitative outputs within tough timeframes and has to be willing simultaneously managing several tasks
o Is willing to work in a international, challenging environment and flexible time schedules
o Holds a Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or similar accreditation
o Is fluent in English, Ukrainian and/or Russian language (spoken and written)
